Of counsel to Sokoloff & Weinstein, P.A., is David Cohen, Esq., who graduated from the University of Maryland 1990 with a degree in criminal justice, and in 1993 he graduated from the Nova University School of Law. He has been practicing exclusively in the area of workers' compensation law since 1993, most recently, prior to opening his own practice, with the Law Offices of Philip J. Feldman and Associates. He entered into private practice as a sole practitioner in February 2000 operating as The Law Offices of David M Cohen PA.
David Cohen has handled workers' compensation claims on behalf of claimants exclusively since 1993. Mr. Cohen is experienced as a workers' compensation attorney with the requisite ability to handle workers' compensation claims. He has a reputation as an aggressive and competent litigator. Mr. Cohen has handled in excess of 2,000 claims since 1993 with more than 40 merit hearings.
Mr. Cohen believes that fully protecting your rights means a willingness to go to trial whenever it will serve your best interests. He is active in the community group Friends of 440, which includes lawyers, judges, doctors and other professionals involved in Workers' compensation law. As members of Friends of 440, he works to create events for children, and to make the lives of those affected by workplace injuries better.
